30-day money back guarantee
We want you to love your bottle. If you have used it for 30 days and it is not for you, send it back for a full refund. It does not need to be unused. That is the whole point of a guarantee.
To start a return, email hello@modeandopal.co.nz with your order number and a quick note about what did not work for you. We will send you the return details.
The guarantee is written for your first order with us, but we are not rigid about it. If you have bought from us before and your new bottle is not working out, email us anyway and we will sort something out. We do reserve the right to decline change of mind returns where they become repeated.
Return shipping
New Zealand: we cover it. We will email you a prepaid label.
Australia: return shipping is at your cost.
United Kingdom: return shipping is at your cost.
South Africa: return shipping is at your cost.
For all markets, please email us before sending anything back so we can confirm the right return address.
If something arrives damaged, incorrect or incomplete
Email hello@modeandopal.co.nz within 30 days of receiving your order with your order number, a short description and clear photos. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
This applies no matter where you are. You do not pay return shipping on a faulty or incorrect item in any market.
Refunds
Once we have received and checked your return, your refund goes back to your original payment method. Please allow a few business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or provider.
Original shipping charges are not refunded on change of mind returns.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), the Australian Consumer Law, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (United Kingdom), or the Consumer Protection Act 2008 (South Africa). If a product is faulty, those rights apply regardless of the 30-day window.
